Friday, June 8th: Live Music with

    Andy Ferrell and Carolina Tim

    8:00-10:00pm

Born in Boone, NC, Andy Ferrell grew up in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the birthplace of Appalachian traditional music and the home of the great Doc Watson. Growing up in Watson’s shadow, and with a folk guitarist for a father, Appalachian roots play a large role in Ferrell’s music. Sweet pedal steel rings through his sound, mixed in with rich vocal harmonies and songs that look to the hard truths of a working man’s life as much as to the vagaries of love. Andy's friend, Carolina Tim will also be joining to bring you great, fun music! Check out some songs here!

Saturday, June 9th: Xpand Fest 2018

    12:00-10:00pm

Xpand Fest is a free community event in Asheville held in June every year on Coxe and Buxton Avenue downtown. This event highlights the arts as essential and innovative tools for inclusive development and supports the belief that the arts are a powerful platform for social change. Ginger's Revenge will be one of many businesses bring you local food and beverages to enjoy during the event.

Xpand Fest was created to expand your vision of all art disciplines and to celebrate their profound societal impact locally and globally. Xpand Fest provides a platform for Asheville to examine the imperceptible creativity around and how we are using the arts to improve our own community. The mission of Xpand Fest resonates with us at GInger's Revenge as we intend to be a force for good in our community, to inspire imagination and adventure, and to have fun!
