Ginger’s Revenge is a rapidly growing craft brewery based in Asheville, NC. We’re scaling quickly. We’re up and coming, and we’re looking for team members who are excited by the prospect of building new markets and relationships. If you love the craft beverage industry and are interested in beer alternatives like alcoholic ginger beer, this is an awesome opportunity to participate in a part of the industry that is experiencing triple-digit growth.

We are looking for someone to lead a team of passionate go-getters to reach ambitious sales goals. We are self-distributed with accounts from WNC to Raleigh. As the company grows, we will begin working with third-party wholesalers to increase sales in other markets. We are looking for a candidate based in Asheville, although we would entertain another location in North Carolina if you are candidate with experience managing a team remotely.

Sales Manager Job Description

  • Aggressively pursue, close, and activate new opportunities for sales distribution
  • Lead company towards the creation and execution of monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Work with management to recruit, select, and direct sales staff in meeting or exceeding company sales goals
  • Facilitate brand development and awareness within the marketplace
  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all customers (E-595Es, ABC permits)
  • Maintain accurate records of keg deposits/credits
  • Prepare monthly commission reports for each sales rep
  • Coordinate changing sales demands with production manager


  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in the beverage industry
  • 3+ years in a sales management role
  • Must be a self-starter committed to excellence with an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
  • Outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Confident in leading a team and setting an example of expectations
  • Reliable transportation, willingness to travel


This is a full-time position, with salary, commission, and bonus based on experience. This position is eligible for benefits after three months employment.
